Ah. The weekend. Or as the French call it: "le weekend". Try to do more work on the poetry but am fixated by the thought of the Wisconsin cheese industry conference. What would they talk about? Return to the internet and find that I can get a "tabletop" booth at the conference for a mere 99 dollars.

Quote: "It’s an excellent opportunity to share your expertise with hundreds of cheese manufacturers."

It is worse than I thought. There are hundreds of them.

Do what I always do when confronted with a difficult problem. Type "cheese industry" into Google. Hurrah. They are having a conference about the cheese industry in Wisconsin. Unfortunately the conference starts a month after the lecture, and it is unlikely that the department would stretch to the airfare.

At least I know there is a cheese industry out there. Decide to type something else into Google tomorrow.

Beginning to wonder if "The Microsoft .NET Framework and its Impact on the Cheese Industry" was a sensible title for the lecture. Don't know much about cheese except in a bad dreams kind of way and that it is easy to rhyme with. Resolve to find out more.

Not sure which is harder. Thinking of funny things to put in the lecture or thinking of funny things to put in the blog. Am buoyed up by the thought that William Shakespeare probably had the same problem. Although I don't have a "second best bed" to leave in my will.

Wonder if buying another bed would increase my poetic potential.

Decide to create a journal of the creative process by which my words will be produced. Consider this a great favour to posterity. Don't think that the favour will be returned however (at least not in a useful way).
