Friday 23rd November

The nerve centre of the operation. That Snickers bar cost over a pound.

Every day on the shuttle bus we go past a highway cop just standing by his Harley and looking cool. I could do that (or probably not). We had a chat with him and it turns out he prefers Kawasaki bikes. They go faster and they don't break down as much. I hope he doesn't get drummed out of the force for this.

There just has to be a story in this picture, but I'm darned if I know what it is.

The box you get if you *really* care about your computer.

The box you get if you really *don't* care about your computer.

A couple more horror stories. And these guys got the data back by rebuilding the disk drive in a clean room! Although I think I'd have left the powerbook down there...

In America everything is bigger. Including their Pocket PCs.

The all new combination computer and helicopter.

Austin Powers selling DVD ROM drives. No, I can't see the connection either.

Kitchen sink drama selling Toshiba. The dialogue actually would have made me buy a Toshiba product. If they sold buckets.
